From compassion to action

The Cuba Compassion Project exists to feed the hungry, care for the sick, and bring direct, hand-to-hand relief straight to Cuba’s most extreme poverty cases where aid never reaches.

Founded in January 2026, the Cuba Compassion Project is a Florida-based nonprofit created by Cuban Americans who know this reality personally and refuse to look away. Today, conditions in Cuba are worse than ever before. Extreme poverty is skyrocketing, and millions of people are starving without access to basic necessities or food. Families are trapped in near-constant blackouts, enduring power outages that leave them in darkness for up to 18 hours a day, unable to cook basic meals or keep life-saving medicine cold. Prices have soared so high that a single carton of eggs can cost more than an elderly person’s entire monthly pension. We exist to step into this crisis with immediate, direct aid.

Children go to bed hungry. Families survive in homes without running water, while loved ones are turned away at hospital doors simply because there is no medicine left inside. People are dying every day from treatable conditions due to a complete lack of basic medical supplies and care. These are not just statistics. They are real human beings, and they are the exact reason we exist.

Our model is simple: we deliver aid person-to-person and door-to-door, with zero bureaucracy. We are completely independent and 100% volunteer-led. Nobody on our team takes a salary or profits from this work. Donations are turned into essential food and medicine, delivered directly into the hands of those who have nobody else to turn to. It is the only way to be certain the aid actually arrives.

We serve the abandoned, the elderly, the sick, and the children of Cuba because we believe that every human life has dignity. That belief is the foundation of everything we do.

“If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
