Cuba Compassion Project specializes in facilitating direct humanitarian relief to extreme poverty cases throughout Cuba, providing a hand-to-hand lifeline for those in need. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reaching the people the world often misses.
We began this journey in January 2026 with a simple goal: provide relief exactly where it's needed most. As of May 2026, these milestones are just the beginning of what we're building together. Every number here represents a family reached and a promise kept.
The Cuba Compassion Project exists for one reason: to ensure the most vulnerable people in Cuba do not go unseen, unfed, or forgotten. We are a Florida-based nonprofit founded by Cuban Americans who know this reality personally and refuse to look away.
In Cuba today, millions face a hunger crisis without a safety net. Families are trapped in a cycle of 18-hour power outages that leave them in total darkness, unable to cook food or keep life-saving medicine cold. With hyperinflation driving food costs up by over 400%, a single carton of eggs can cost an elderly person more than half of their monthly pension.
Children go to bed hungry. Families survive in homes without running water or access to basic medicine. These are not just statistics. They are real people, and they are the reason we exist.
Our model is simple: we deliver aid person-to-person and door-to-door, with zero bureaucracy and zero waste. We ensure every dollar of support is transformed into essential supplies delivered directly into the hands of those who need it most. It is the only way to be certain the aid actually arrives.
We serve the abandoned, the elderly, the sick, and the children of Cuba because we believe that every human life has dignity. That belief is the foundation of everything we do.
This quote is the heartbeat of our mission and the spark that founded this nonprofit.
We take what you give and put it exactly where it needs to go. No detours. Just people helping people.
Grassroots donations fund the direct purchase of food, medicine, and essential goods. Every dollar is treated as a lifeline. We transform your contributions into tangible supplies, leveraging trusted logistics partners and direct channels to ensure that aid bypasses hurdles and reaches the island quickly.
While the struggle in Cuba is universal, some families are facing conditions five times worse than the average. Through our trusted volunteer network on the ground, we personally identify those going through the hardest times, specifically those with no other support. We coordinate every detail to ensure the delivery is carried out door-to-door and hand-to-hand.
This is what it all comes down to. The moment a door opens and a family that had nothing now has a meal, medicine, or a reason to hope. We document every delivery so you can witness the real, life-changing difference you made possible.
We document every delivery so you can witness the real, life-changing difference your generosity makes possible.

We assist real families and individuals who are poor, elderly, ill, or unable to meet their most basic needs. We prioritize those who are not prohibited officials as defined by U.S. regulations. Many of those we help lack family members abroad and are therefore particularly vulnerable. Our primary focus is on families and children who are simply trying to survive with dignity.
